This month we are raising awareness around a sport that we know well and one that Forbes magazine listed in 2003 as the healthiest sport based on four basic physiological components of fitness: cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance and flexibility as well as decreased injury risk and increased calorie burn.
Squash outranked rowing, swimming, cross country skiing, and others as the sport that provides the best overall exercise and we are happy to offer you with the best facilities on the island to utilise.
With four air-conditioned squash courts, fun leagues and ladders, and a variety of programs led by our charismatic squash coach, Kristen Johnston, we have something for everyone.
If you are a member and have never played squash before, we encourage you to join us on a Thursday afternoon between 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm for our beginner's sessions. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and get comfortable with the fundamentals of the game. There are personal and group sessions available throughout the week that are tailored to professional work schedules.
For competitive squash players, we have a range of programs throughout the week that cater to you. These programs will give you the edge for the ladders, leagues and competitions that we run at the Club.
