Court House Standards
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have followed the Government of Bermuda's precautionary measures and have taken influence from leading global wellness companies on how to run a safe and effective fitness facility. Our increased protocols for health and safety measures builds on our existing commitment to high standards of health, safety and cleanliness.
In addition to existing continuous cleaning protocols, we have increased our deep-cleaning and disinfecting schedule to keep you safe.
We have always had a personal towel policy. By members using a personal towel, it reduces the transfer of sweat onto the machines and other members. You must use your personal towel when you exercise in the gym and when you attend classes.
Disinfectant wipes are available throughout the club and play a critical role in maintaining the health and safety of members. When you finish using our equipment, please wipe it down. By us all playing our part, we will continue to have a clean environment and significantly reduce the risk of an outbreak.
To ensure that our members and staff remain safe, masks must be worn at all times outside of exercising and showering. This includes upon entering/exiting the club and in all common areas including hallways, locker rooms and lounge area.
Court House team members are consistently out on the floor of each club to make sure that members are physically distancing, following PPE procedures and upholding all of our cleanliness standards.
Masks are to be worn while entering the studio and until everyone has the equipment they need. The instructor will let the class know that it is okay to remove masks.
All equipment being used needs to be set up before entering the class or only touched by the class participants one at a time and brought back to their stations.
Mats must be used for mat-based classes. If you do not have a mat you will not be able to participate in the class.
We run a locked door policy. If a member is late to the class we will not be able to admit them as this will violate social distancing.
Personal towels must be used. Without it, you will not be able to attend the class.
After the class, each row should wipe down their equipment and place it back in the original location.
Currently, we are not allowing any guest passes.
The Ministry of Health updated the Guidance for Gyms, Exercise Facilities, Health Clubs and Dance Studios on 1st December 2020 and advised the following:
'If staff or a client of a gym must travel, they must not return to the gym, exercise facility, health club or dance studio until they receive their day 14 test result.'

Throughout the facilities, we will be installing protective shields between machines that are close together. The Cardio Center was the first part of the club to have this new measure installed. This will continue to be rolled out throughout our locations.
