Keen To Be Green

Court House is located in Victoria Place, Bermuda’s first ‘Green Building’ designed to the GOLD level of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Programme (Leadership in Environmental & Energy Design).

What exactly is the LEED programme?
The project has adopted the US green Building Council’s LEED commissioning system. This is a points rating system where points are gained by making decisions which provide a healthier and more efficient building for the occupiers and reduce consumption of resources in the constructing and maintaining of the building.

As well as ensuring that our members are provided with the best indoor air quality, location in Victoria Place is part of our initiative to effectively reduce the size of our carbon footprint.

Our members receive communication through our interactive website and emails. Motion sensitive taps eliminate water wastage and we have chosen not to offer a towel service. Using environmentally safe cleaning products is also part of our commitment to this initiative.

At Court House, we believe that by working together we can ensure we are taking positive steps towards green awareness and the reduction of our environmental footprint.
